Dragon Ball Super
Oshimeter
Synopsis
After defeating basically every threat the universe has thrown at him, Goku's next challenge is naturally gods. Dragon Ball Super picks up after the Majin Buu saga, and Earth is peaceful, Goku's farming, Vegeta's being a dad, everyone's chilling. That lasts about five minutes. Beerus, the God of Destruction, wakes up from a decades-long nap because a prophecy told him a "Super Saiyan God" would be the one to challenge him. He shows up on Earth with his attendant Whis, and suddenly the power scaling goes completely off the rails in the best way. Beerus is genuinely terrifying early on: this is a guy who destroys planets because the food was bad. The dynamic between him and Goku is great because for once, Goku is completely outmatched and knows it, which hasn't really happened since early Dragon Ball Z. The show keeps the goofy humor the franchise is known for, but the new divine hierarchy adds real stakes and lore that make the universe feel bigger than it ever has. At 131 episodes from Toei Animation, there's a lot here, including tournament arcs that go places you won't expect. If you grew up on Naruto or Bleach and want that same escalating power fantasy but with characters you already know, this is where Dragon Ball went next. If you liked One Piece's sense of adventure mixed with ridiculous fights, the vibe overlaps more than you'd think. It's comfort food anime with actual ambition baked in.

Honestly one of my favorite animes of all time! I LOVE the fight scenes! The power up scenes! And the whole TOP arc? Cherry on Top! It's kinda slow in the beginning but picks up very fast! Funny! Amazing visuals! Iconic Sound Tracks! Just amazing!
Dragon Ball Super continues the story after Dragon Ball Z, mixing lighthearted comedy with intense battles that span across universes. It expands the world with new characters while bringing back familiar ones, offering exciting action, nostalgic moments, and a fresh extension of the Dragon Ball saga.
The best Dragon Ball anime I've ever seen, but it won't surpass Dragon Ball Z.
Episode 105 is a true rollercoaster of emotions I literally got goosebumps watching it! The tension keeps rising with every scene, and the mix of action and drama hits so hard that I’m always on the verge of tears whenever a powerful moment happens. On top of that, the episode brings a wave of nostalgia, reminding me of the classic Dragon Ball vibes that made us fall in love with the series in the first place. The way the characters push their limits makes the whole fight feel epic, and those unexpected twists had me glued to the screen. Dragon Ball Super absolutely delivered hype, chills, nostalgia, and raw emotion all packed into one unforgettable episode.
A fun, lighthearted return to the Dragon Ball universe. Set after the defeat of Buu, we see Goku living a peaceful farm life while Beerus the God of Destruction awakens searching for a Super Saiyan God. A nostalgic and exciting setup for what's to come. Great to be back.
An insane battle vs Zamasu! The hero's used all of their ways to try and defeat zamasu and it worked out in the end! A cinematic masterpiece in my eyes!
A great start back into the world of dragon ball. We get to see lots of the cast back! A more relaxed and chill episode to begin with but still a very good episode!
The tournament is finally over! Universes 7 and 11 both fought their hardest until the very end. However, there can only be one winner. Congratulations on your victory, Mr! Your kindness also saved all the universes! Can't wait for the next arc.
The long-awaited battle finally happened: Son Goku vs. Jiren! Son Goku, who used Super Saiyan Blue Kaio Ken, was still not strong enough to face Jiren. This forced Goku to use his ultimate attack, Genkidama, on Jiren.
The battle against Zamasu reaches its climax! Goku and Vegeta execute a final plan to confront Zamasu, who has merged with Goku Black using the Potara earrings. Meanwhile, Trunks is also ready to return to the battle and end all the chaos caused by Zamasu.
This episode shows Future Trunks' world descending into chaos once again! Bulma and Trunks attempt to use a time machine and travel back in time to seek help due to the problems occurring in their world. What really happened in the future trunks world?
This episode depicts a peaceful Earth, with Son Goku returning to his primary occupation: farming. In between farming activities, Goku continues to train in martial arts, ensuring his fighting abilities remain intact and stable.
Unity is strength. Universe 7 gives its all to end this intense battle against an unstoppable rival. The finale delivers a thrilling plot twist and perfect choreography in a fight where the survival of their entire universe is at stake. An epic conclusion! and an interesting wish
ANDROID 17 WON THE TOURNAMENT OF POWER AND I WILL NEVER GET OVER IT. the wish to restore all universes had me in tears. what a sendoff for dragon ball super fr fr this finale did not miss at all
The Tournament of Power gets a proper sendoff. Android 17 being the MVP was unexpected but earned. The wish to restore all universes was the right call narratively. Solid conclusion to the series.
ok this finale was everything. android 17 really carried universe 7 on his back and i was not ready for that. the wish moment hit so different. what a way to end the tournament of power
Emotionally, the episode attempts to deepen Jiren’s character with glimpses of his backstory, though some viewers may find these moments underwhelming compared to the intensity of the battle.
Explosive fights, clever tactics, and nonstop tension — every move could change the tournament!
