Episode Context

Coming off the high-stakes confrontation with the assassin Hit, episode 73 serves as a comedic cooldown before the series ramps back up toward its larger universal conflicts. This is confirmed filler with no bearing on the main storyline, functioning as a character-focused breather for Gohan. It leads directly into another Great Saiyaman-themed episode, giving Gohan a rare spotlight before the narrative shifts its attention back to Goku and the escalating threats ahead.
