Episode Context

Coming directly off Episode 60's major identity reveal surrounding Goku Black, this episode escalates the Future Trunks saga by fully exposing the antagonists' endgame, shifting the conflict from mystery to all-out ideological war. It serves as the arc's philosophical centerpiece, giving Zamasu's motivations complete clarity before the saga barrels into its most intense battle sequences. Everything that follows builds on the foundation laid here.
