Episode Context

Sitting at episode 2 of 131, this is part of the early stretch establishing the status quo before Dragon Ball Super's larger cosmic threats take shape. The previous episode similarly kept things peaceful, and this installment continues that calm by doubling down on character moments rather than advancing any major plot. These domestic episodes serve as the foundation that makes the escalating stakes of later arcs hit harder, contrasting the everyday lives worth protecting against the universe-shaking dangers ahead.
