Episode Context

Coming off Goku's successful recruitment of Krillin and Android 18, this episode widens the scope to show Universe 7 isn't the only team hustling, every universe is mobilizing, which amplifies the scale of what's coming. It deepens the team-building phase of the Tournament of Power saga while specifically setting up Goku's next major recruitment target, Android 17, in the following episode. At episode 85 of 131, the series is firmly in pre-tournament territory, laying essential groundwork for what will become the longest and most consequential battle arc in Dragon Ball Super.
