Episode Context

Coming off a string of lighter episodes following the Battle of Gods storyline, episode 16 pivots back toward meaningful character progression by establishing Vegeta's connection with Whis, a relationship that becomes critical to future power-ups and confrontations. The previous episode focused on Mr. Satan's comedic antics, and this one maintains the relaxed pacing while steering toward the next major arc. This setup directly feeds into the upcoming training sequences and the looming threat of the Resurrection 'F' storyline.
