Episode Context

Sitting roughly in the middle of the Future Trunks arc, episode 55 pivots away from the immediate Goku Black conflict to introduce a game-changing element through Goku's audience with Zeno, while simultaneously deepening Zamasu's ideological trajectory. Prior episodes established Future Trunks' return, the mystery of Goku Black, and initial confrontations, this installment expands the scope dramatically. The threads planted here, particularly the Zeno connection and Zamasu's philosophical unraveling, become critical drivers for the arc's escalating stakes ahead.
