Episode Context

Arriving at episode 111 of 131, this follows directly from Goku's groundbreaking Ultra Instinct clash with Jiren and shifts the spotlight to Hit as the next challenger willing to test the Pride Trooper's dominance. It marks a critical turning point in the Tournament of Power's middle stretch, thinning the field and reinforcing the scale of the threat Jiren poses to every remaining universe. The fallout from this confrontation reshapes alliances and strategies for the tournament's increasingly desperate final act.
