Episode Context

Episode 122 sits deep in the Tournament of Power's endgame, with Universe 3 eliminated in the prior episode, this is now a straight showdown between Universes 7 and 11, the final two standing. This episode escalates the individual matchups that will define the tournament's conclusion, positioning Vegeta's arc as a critical emotional throughline heading into the final nine episodes. It bridges the mid-tournament eliminations and the ultimate confrontations with Jiren that dominate the series' climax.
