Episode Context

Sitting at episode 62 of 131, this lands deep in the Future Trunks saga during a critical escalation point, previous episodes revealed the full scope of the antagonists' threat, and now the heroes are fighting with their backs against the wall. Trunks' power-up here serves as a pivotal turning point, bridging the gap between the initial confrontations and the strategic countermeasures the heroes will develop in upcoming episodes. It's a momentum episode that rewards investment in the arc so far while raising the ceiling for what's still to come.
