Episode Context

Sitting deep in the Future Trunks/Zamasu saga, episode 66 follows directly from Zamasu's fusion and represents the arc's climactic confrontation, the moment everything has been building toward since Goku Black's introduction. It serves as the penultimate resolution point before the arc's true conclusion in the episodes that follow, where the full consequences of this battle reshape Future Trunks' timeline. At episode 66 of 131, this marks roughly the halfway point of the full series, closing out one of Dragon Ball Super's most ambitious and emotionally driven arcs before transitioning toward the Universe Survival saga.
