Episode Context

Coming off Goku's grueling clash with Kefla in episode 116, this installment wisely rotates focus to Universe 7's supporting fighters while Goku recovers, reinforcing the ensemble nature of the Tournament of Power. Sitting at episode 117 of 131, the tournament is entering its elimination-heavy stretch, and this bout against Universe 2 continues thinning the field as stakes escalate toward the arc's climax.
