Episode Context

Picking up directly from Goku's Super Saiyan God transformation in the preceding episodes, this installment deepens the central confrontation of the Battle of Gods arc, still early in Dragon Ball Super's 131-episode run. The escalating clash between Goku and Beerus here bridges the initial transformation hype into the next phase, where their battle's consequences begin threatening the universe itself.
