Episode Context

This is the culmination of the Battle of Gods arc's central question: can the Saiyans produce a Super Saiyan God before Beerus loses patience and destroys Earth? Episodes 1-8 established the threat, introduced the prophecy, and gathered the necessary participants. From here, the arc pivots from preparation to confrontation, with subsequent episodes exploring what this new power actually means when tested against a God of Destruction.
