EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode Context

As the very first episode of 131, this serves as a soft reset for the franchise, re-establishing the post-Buu status quo and reintroducing the core cast in peacetime. There's no immediate threat, the episode is purely setup, grounding viewers in the calm before the storm. Everything here lays the domestic groundwork that makes the approaching God of Destruction Beerus saga hit with real narrative contrast.
