Mungkin anime ini menjadi anime shojo terbaik yang pernah kutonton. Premisnya menjadi pioneer dari anime-anime sesudahnya dengan tema serupa. Plot ceritanya kuat, bisa memberikan rasa nostalgia yang kuat jika kamu menontonnya lagi sekarang. Aku juga sangat suka dengan soundtrack-nya, sangat memorable. Perkembangan karakternya setara, walaupun titik fokusnya tetap pada karakter Sailor Moon. Tapi karakter-karakter lain tetap berperan penting pada perkembangan alur cerita, termasuk karakter musuh. Cerita romantis antara Usagi dan Mamoru juga tidak berlebihan.

Watching the cat use Usagi's head as a springboard made me laugh and I think Luna is definitely going to have her hands full with this girl

Derella shedding that Mikan disguise was pretty gross, and it was satisfying to see the tiara move finally take it out for good

seeing haruna sensei trapped in that green energy pod looking like a literal ghost was actually kind of terrifying for a kid show

Ami pulling out that tiny computer to figure out the monster's weakness was such a relief, honestly, I was worried she'd just stand there looking smart but useless, so it's cool to see her brain become an actual weapon in the fight.

Watching Hiromi and Kazuko reconcile on the roof was actually quite sweet, and knowing they are inspired by real staff members makes it even better. You can really see those early hints of the director's unique style during the final fight scene. It's a filler episode but the heart in the animation studio plot makes the ending where they make up feel earned

Rei acting like she is too cool for anime but then showing up with a whole bag of signing boards is the funniest thing ever

I could not stop laughing when those twin monsters started fighting each other and ruined their own perfect teamwork

Nephrite thinking he had the perfect plan only for his monsters to start hair pulling and bickering is such a classic villain fail, and Zoisite laughing at him was the best part

It was genuinely unsettling for me to see that cursed pencil twist Hiromi into such a nightmare, completely set on taking out Sailor V. I wasn't expecting such a dark turn in this episode, and it made me wonder how much power these cursed objects truly have.

The pinky promise about those special pencils made me feel so bad for Kazuko when Hiromi snapped hers in half

Mamoru having those dreams about the moon princess and the silver crystal is making the mystery so much more interesting

I am still laughing at how Usagi just lied her way into that party and pretended to be a princess from a made up kingdom and she actually made it work

Jupiter catching that transformation pen midair and becoming a guardian for the first time was such a cool introduction for the fourth member and her green uniform is iconic

Starting the rainbow crystal arc with Joe is a smart move because it gives the scouts a clear goal while they search for the silver crystal

Joe, the crane game master? I couldn't believe my eyes when he was revealed as the first of the seven shadows; that twist seriously caught me off guard. Seeing him transform into that wild gaming monster was super creepy too, I just never expected such a normal-looking guy to be so evil!
