Synopsis

An unusual snow storm hits Tokyo and the Sailor Senshi discover that an evil snow queen Kaguya, wants to freeze the entire earth. It's up to the Inner Sailor Senshi along with the Outers, to defeat the Queen. Meanwhile, Luna falls in love with a human astronomer named Kakeru whose girlfriend is an astronaut about to take a space shuttle mission. Kakeru becomes ill and Luna wishes she could be a human to help him.

Lo que hace tan especial a esta película es cómo se la sacan a Serena del foco principal para darle todo el protagonismo a Luna. La trama se enfoca a fondo en el romance imposible entre la gatita y Kakeru. Toda la cinta maneja una vibra bastante melancólica. Ver a Luna sufrir por no pertenecer a la misma especie, mientras lidia con que el pibe está mal de salud y encima ya está de novio, le aporta un tono súper maduro. Lógico que tenemos la acción de siempre y a Snow Kaguya queriendo meter a la Tierra en un freezer, pero el verdadero motor de esta historia pasa por los sentimientos y no por las peleas. El desenlace es espectacular. Es de esas entregas que te terminan dejando un sabor medio agridulce y nostálgico, demostrando que Sailor Moon la tiene atadísima a la hora de contar un buen drama romántico.
