Episode Context

Episode 46 is the grand finale of the entire first season, following the intense escalation of the Dark Kingdom arc where Usagi and the Sailor Guardians have been pushed to their absolute limits in episodes 44 and 45. Everything, Queen Beryl, the Silver Crystal, the Guardians' sacrifices, converges here for the ultimate resolution. As the final episode, it closes out this chapter of the story while laying the emotional and thematic groundwork that carries into Sailor Moon R.
