Umino in a dress and full makeup was the funniest thing so far and those girls really did him dirty

I never realized this was the last time Usagi fights totally alone before the other girls show up, and it makes the whole thing feel a bit more special. Seeing her get stuck in that weird glass slime was actually pretty tense because she looked genuinely stuck to me, and Tuxedo Mask had to show up to break her out with a rose.

When Mikan got snatched right out of her own shower, I literally gasped, that was such a dirty trick! I was actually pretty creeped out by how that monster looked, it made me wonder if Usagi could even handle something so gross.

Tuxedo Mask actually did something useful for once when he broke that glass stuff off Sailor Moon and told her she was the star of the show

Seeing Umino in that dress and makeup really made me laugh because he really thought he was looking good while trying to help Naru

I really felt for Usagi when she was crying about her dreams and wanting to be famous because it reminded me of being a kid. It was a bit formulaic since Tuxedo Mask had to save her again, but seeing her realize that her normal life is actually okay was a nice touch. Plus the Umino makeover was just pure chaos

That opening scene in the shower with the monster actually scared me for a second since this show usually feels way more lighthearted than that

I still cant get over Umino in that dress and makeup because it was so weird and I felt bad for him even if it was funny

I cant believe Usagi was so mean to Luna today just because she wanted to be a famous idol and it was kind of annoying to watch her ignore all the red flags

Watching Naru and Usagi struggle through that dance routine was painful but also very relatable for anyone who tried to be a star in middle school

The way all the contestants sang the actual theme song for the show was such a funny choice and it felt like a total fourth wall break

Tuxedo Mask really showed up at the perfect time to break that glass slime with a rose and give Sailor Moon her confidence back

I swear, my jaw practically dropped when Tuxedo Mask actually did something genuinely useful for once! His little pep talk, calling Usagi a star while she was completely stuck in that sticky glass goo, felt surprisingly heartfelt and really lit a fire under her, making me think he’s been paying way more attention to her battles than he lets on, which makes me trust him a tiny bit more now.

My jaw literally dropped when Umino showed up in that wild dress and all that makeup, it was such an unexpected and hilarious moment. I swear, his and Naru's little comedy routine was way more entertaining than whatever silly monster Usagi was fighting this week, it made me laugh so hard!

Usagi really got on my last nerve this episode, honestly. I get that she's stressed about the talent show, but yelling at Luna when she's just trying to help felt so unfair to me after everything Luna's done. I guess sometimes she just completely blanks on how much Luna puts up with, huh?

Did anyone else get totally spooked by that green monster silhouette closing in on Mikan while she was in the shower? My heart jumped a little, and it felt so out of place for Sailor Moon right before all the idol auditions began.

I honestly got a little teary-eyed when Tuxedo Mask showed up on the balcony, telling Usagi she was the *true* star; it totally changed the whole meaning of her idol dream for me. Suddenly, it wasn't just about money or cake, but about actually stepping up to save her friends from that creepy green monster, which felt way more important. It’s like he sees something in her even she doesn't, pushing her to finally embrace her destiny.

Ugh, Usagi's whining about chores while still dreaming of being an idol was so typical of her, honestly. I couldn't help but feel for Luna today, she just wants Usagi to get her act together but it's like talking to a wall sometimes.

Luna totally looked like she was about done with Usagi's antics this episode, and honestly, I don't blame her. I get the feeling she's constantly on the verge of throwing in the towel, especially when Usagi's crying over something tiny again.

When that fake Mikan started hitting those bells and handing out those weird glowing stamps, I immediately got such a bad feeling, like, what even *are* those things? I just knew something was off about her, especially after seeing how creepy her whole vibe was.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 7 of 46, this lands in the early stretch of Sailor Moon's first season where the show is still establishing its episodic rhythm and Usagi's character before the heavier mythology kicks in. The core Sailor team is still incomplete at this point, and the series is cycling through standalone adventures between key recruitment episodes. This filler outing doesn't advance the search for the Moon Princess or the conflict against the Dark Kingdom, but it reinforces Usagi's personality and relatability ahead of more consequential episodes to come.
