Seeing Mako-chan show off on the ice was great and her skating was so much better than Usagi's flailing around and it made me laugh because the princess was supposed to be a pro back in the day

Episode Context

Landing at episode 39 of 46, this filler arrives during the final stretch of the Dark Kingdom arc, where tensions should be escalating toward the climactic confrontation. The episodes surrounding it carry heavier narrative weight as the Sailors close in on the endgame, making this standalone a brief breather before the season's intense final run. Fans pushing toward the finale can safely note this as skippable without losing plot threads, though it offers one last relaxed Makoto-focused outing before the stakes rise sharply.
