Studio KAI is adapting this from a web manga that already has a pretty devoted following, and the comedic-romantic tone hits that sweet spot between funny and genuinely tender. It's a TV series about the clumsy, complicated part of youth where every interaction feels like it means something — because at that age, it kind of does.
