Nice episode, with drama and her insecurities.

I like their group chemistry—it makes me cheer up.

Overall, a dramatic ending—8/10.

The timing was just crazy, LOL! That really made me laugh so hard. Kidding aside, this is why I don’t like Minato. It’s actually very annoying and troublesome when people don’t mind their own business. As an introvert myself, I totally understand Koyuki’s reaction. That said, this episode really gets my emotions pumped up. It’s a totally great episode!

Miki confronts Minato and turns out Minato is just a simple guy. Their friendship seems to develops even though Koyuki still feels a bit awkward with Minato. And then a conflict begins to emerge between them.

Miki's confrontation with Minato and what follows is the emotional highlight of the season so far. Then Tsubasa shows up and everything unravels fast. The weight of Koyuki's past trauma hitting all at once is handled really well. That ending hit hard.

Some things between Miki and Minato start to become clearer. The friendship keeps going with a wholesome vibe, but there’s still something off about Minato. He’s trying to push Koyuki out of her shell. I really felt what Koyuki was feeling at the end, and the darker animation style makes it hit more.

The moment Miki and Minato made up was genuinely sweet they really care about each other and the group harmony

Minato's intentions aren't evil he just doesn't get how to approach Koyuki and seeing him try to be better was a good step

I really appreciate this episode for digging into Koyuki's walls and showing us exactly why she's built them up

Honestly I can relate to Koyuki wanting to stay invisible sometimes social stuff is just draining and dealing with past trauma is hard her reaction to Igarashi makes complete sense to me even if it's painful to watch her relive it

My heart broke for Koyuki seeing those flashbacks to middle school and how Igarashi just allowed all that bullying to happen

I actually felt so bad for Koyuki when she saw Igarashi she completely froze up and the panic was so real her past is rough

Minato really needed that Miki lecture you know he was way too full of himself but at least he listened and made up for it

Miki is such a good friend to Koyuki for calling out Minato's whole savior complex and protecting her that was great to see

Another development of the background/lore story for our Ice Queen Koyun, and finally putting up a wall for the ever-nosy Minato. Kinda expecting that to happen, despite his opennness towards Miki on the beginning of the episode. Neat pacing and overall just right~

Still keeps a light, playful vibe. Focus shifts to Miki & Minato resolving past issues (so satisfying 💬), while Yota & Koyuki take a backseat. Lots of chibi moments add extra cuteness

Yet another fun episode! The stakes are increasing with igarashi being introduced towards the end, just after the talk between Azumi and Amamiya. Amongst all this, the show still has a light-hearted vibe that keeps things feeling realistic amidst the school drama.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following Episode 3's early shifts in the Koyuki-Minato dynamic, Episode 4 deepens that tension by pulling Koyuki's past into the present through the introduction of Igarashi, a former classmate. This marks a turning point in the season's emotional layering, moving the story from tentative first impressions into more complex relational territory. What unfolds here is likely to shape the emotional stakes heading into the second half of the series.
