The episode was great—a feel-good episode with some deep conversations and warm, wholesome support.
It also had many meme-worthy moments.

Overall — surprise confession, 10/10.

Kimi's chibi scenes are hilarious.

This episode is super wholesome, and the way things developed was also super sweet. That said, I can’t help but laugh at how things are developing within their group. Isn’t this going to get so messy later on, LOL? Well, that’s actually what makes it more fun. I wonder what’s going to happen next.

In this episode, Yota develops his relationship with Koyuki. It's so warm but also emotional. And the misunderstanding in this episode is so funny and chaotic.

Yota's episode and he absolutely earns it. The conversation between him and Koyuki is one of the best scenes of the series. Miki's plan at the end is both sweet and chaotic. Everyone is misreading everyone and it's both frustrating and completely charming.

Ahhh, I was actually rooting for Koyun and Yotaa to get shipped together

I have a love-hate feeling with this episode. The story gets more interesting with an unexpected plot twist, props to the writing! Koyun and Yota get closer, but it kinda makes everyone else misunderstand things even more. Honestly, Yota’s confession hurts… but it is what it is 😭

PLPLS we need more scenes with Minato and Koyuki, we've been starved so far with their micro-interactions and Minato's worried thoughts on her. It's turning into a cuter take on the "will they wont they" trope though. The new confession from Yota as well, like what; I didn't see it coming as much as Koyuki did

A little bit of choppy animation because of the still frames in certain scenes, but the story compensates a ton. Amazing plot progression as well, everything feels realistically paced and well-earned in terms of character development.

The conversation between Koyyun and Yota in this one didn't need to be such a banger. The entire sequence felt perfectly paced and avoided the cluttered or forced feel that often comes with romance tackling deeper themes. Both characters have such good chemistry as well (platonically)!

Great episode. The heart-to-heart conversation was really good, and it felt satisfying to see his problem finally get resolved. Though now a new issue has come up because of the relationship misunderstanding. Usually I’m not really a fan of misunderstandings, especially in romance stories, but I actually found this one pretty funny. I just hope the misunderstanding doesn’t drag on for too long.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 6's shift in dynamics as the new semester resets the social landscape, Episode 7 slows the pace to go inward — using that disruption as a launching point for genuine character excavation. It functions as an emotional midpoint, deepening viewers' understanding of Koyuki and Youta before the series pushes their relationship into new territory. What unfolds here lays essential groundwork for the interpersonal stakes that will define the episodes ahead.
