This episode begin with adorable moments between Koyuki and Minato. Their interactions are just too cute. Also, some funny moments happen between them. The atmosphere in this episode is wholesome but also hilarious. Seems like a new conflict is about to come and can't wait to see how they will handle it.

Man, the romantic tension in this episode is simply so cute! I really love Minato’s dumbfounded expression and especially Koyuki’s flustered reactions. It’s just super fun to watch. On another note, I’m so freaking shocked by how sly Momoka is. Goddamn, this woman is a freaking landmine. What the heck!

I need to scream because Koyuki finally admitted she likes Minato and her face turning bright red was exactly what she needed

Amamiya getting hit by that literal lightning bolt of realization after Momoka spoke was such a classic romance trope but it worked so well here

Watching Yota and Daichi eat that dam curry was the most relatable part of the episode and it was nice seeing them just be bros for a bit

My heart actually stopped when Koyuki realized she likes Minato while he was talking about the book and her face turned that deep red

Yota grabbing her sleeve and telling her he wanted her there was such a sweet moment, especially since he usually just jokes around.

Momoka is definitely playing some kind of game and the way she told Minato they should just date felt so calculated to stir things up

I thought Minato getting so excited over that book was adorable and his smile was actually blinding no wonder Koyuki finally realized she has a crush on him

Minato looked like a shoujo manga protagonist when he was talking about the book and it is about time he and Koyuki both figured out what everyone else already knew months ago

The post credits scene on the train felt so awkward and tense especially with everyone being sick and Akine just showing up out of nowhere while Yota was dying of motion sickness

That girl Momoka is giving off such intense Mami vibes with how she gathers info on Koyuki, and then manipulates Minato, but at least the lightning strike visual made the realization feel earned

The contrast between the quiet breakfast and the pure chaos of my girl Koyuki realization in class was so loud because the internal screaming was too relatable for my social anxiety

Watching Koyuki get so flustered over a book loan is the highlight of the season so far and then Minato finally connects the dots because of a casual comment while buying a drink

That dam curry looked weirdly delicious and the whole motorcycle trip was such a nice break before the literal lightning bolt of drama hit and ruined my peace of mind with Momoka being a snake

Momoka is definitely giving off major villain energy and her meddling is going to make everything so messy but seeing Koyuki finally realize her feelings while hugging that big dog pillow was worth the wait

I actually felt for Yota when he grabbed her sleeve and told her he just wanted her there, because he usually feels like the odd one out. It made the later scenes with Momoka even more frustrating though. She is playing both sides like a pro and I really hope Koyuki does not let her get inside her head too much

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at Episode 12 of an ongoing season, this entry falls squarely in the zone where a drama-romance series typically transitions from complication into consequence — earlier conflicts and emotional buildup are now demanding payoff. The eleven episodes preceding it have presumably layered the relationships and tensions that this installment now has to contend with directly. Depending on the season's total length, Episode 12 either marks an approach to a climax or serves as a pivotal mid-to-late turning point that reshapes what comes next.
