Synopsis

As the first female student council president at a formerly all-boys school, Misaki Ayuzawa rules it with an iron fist. The guys call her 'Demon President' because she's constantly cracking down on them to make the place safer for the growing number of female students. She's tough, competent, and nobody messes with her. There's just one problem — she secretly works at a maid café after school to help support her family, and if anyone found out, her entire reputation would crumble. Enter Takumi Usui, the annoyingly perfect, impossibly popular guy at school, who wanders into her café one day and discovers everything. But instead of exposing her, he just... keeps showing up. And that's where the fun starts. The dynamic between these two is the entire engine of this 26-episode TV series. Misaki is proud, stubborn, and refuses to be vulnerable, while Usui is laid-back, teasing, and way more perceptive than she'd like. Their push-and-pull chemistry carries the show through its comedy beats and its genuinely sweet romantic moments. If you liked the class dynamics in Special A or the comedic energy of Ouran High School Host Club, this hits a similar nerve. It also has that same satisfying slow-burn tension you get from Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, just with a warmer, more straightforward shoujo feel. J.C.Staff keeps the animation clean and the pacing steady. It's comfort food romance done right.

I love the story this anime develops. It's a school comedy with romance, but also some tension and drama. I think it's a very appealing combination that motivates you to keep watching. The characters are captivating, each in their own way, and they add an interesting contrast to
Tora's whole plan was so calculated it made my skin crawl. But then Usui just… shows up. No explanation, no drama, just there. That relief you feel in that moment is exactly why this show works.
Misaki and the Maid cafe struggles to keep their business by joining the footman auditions only for men. So, Misaki disguises herself as a man. Unfortunately, her friend gets found out and now she has to prove that she is a man too. Makes me excited to watch the next episode!
