I guess when Usui comes to Misaki's life, her life just becomes more known and like her personalities are changing by the minute. Her glow is just being discovered by the people around her. Is Usui just a really good judge of character at this point. Very nice episode, very entertaining indeed. A fun one.

A lot of people fall for Misaki this episode because she is aura farming like hell here. Her protective nature has always been the best part of her, and the fact Usui has only ever been serious in participating when he is concern for Misaki is always a heart throbbing moment and highlight how attentive he is not just to Misaki but to his surroundings in general.

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 11's deeper dive into Usui's enigmatic background, Episode 12 deliberately downshifts into a breezier, event-driven installment right at the season's midpoint. The sports festival format provides natural space for the cast to interact outside their usual dynamics, reinforcing relationships and rivalries that have been building across the first half. This lighter tone serves as a palate cleanser before Episode 13 introduces fresh challenges and character developments heading into the second half of the series.
