Daemons of the Shadow Realm

Well pace anime especially at the beginning, was genuinely good. Then the pacing got weird especially till the end. There's some good combat moments but overall never a story you truly yearn to know more about or folloow through further.

Va mejorando la historia y se va poniéndo interesante con estos nuevos personajes y sucesos

The sibling dynamics here was just really good and the story flow felt so smooth and not boring. I liked how this one was laid out.

That moment when Akio finally makes it to his mom in the parking lot and just folds into her arms. All the running and bleeding and hiding he did through those woods paid off right there. Underrated scene in an episode people keep calling slow

I cannot get over that Jin uses anglerfish stamps in his texts while looking like he runs a gambling den. Naming his daemons Love and Sincerity is such a weirdly sweet touch from a guy who scowls at everything. The tsundere bit when Akio implied they were friends sent me.

the Kagemori security is a joke. people walk in and out of that manor like it has a revolving door. hard to take the clan seriously when anyone with legs gets past the front gate

So Akio and Ivan are working together and nobody knows what side they're on. Yuru's gut saying dont trust it while Asa stays cold about it is going to blow up next week

Jin getting flustered when Akio said they were friends was everything. The tsundere allegations are confirmed. That blush had no business being that funny

Jin named his daemons Love and Sincerity. The man runs an escort bar. I sat there grinning at my screen like an idiot for a full minute

Kind of a letdown after the HQ explosion. Lot of sitting around and talking and the Akio reunion got wrapped up too fast for how long they built to it. Jin carried the whole thing on his back

Akio collapsing into his mom's arms in that parking lot wrecked me more than any explosion this week. After all the running through the woods bleeding he just falls apart the second he feels safe

I came into this episode expecting a fight and instead got a family dinner and souvenirs from Tokyo. Somehow that hit harder. Watching Yuru tuck himself into a cramped little space because he feels safer there broke me a bit

The Kagemori barriers keeping daemons out but not stopping a trusted kid from strolling away is such a great detail. Their whole power was built on trusting the wrong person

Yuru catching a fever because his mountain village body has never met a Tokyo germ is such a real detail. Dera rolling in with a pug and a saddle of souvenirs right after the explosion was the levity this show needed

The camera lingering on Akio's cacti said more about him than any line of dialogue could. Prickly and closed off but still needing someone to water him. Chilling stuff from someone who just walked away from his own sister

you can feel the three way fight brewing now that nishino has a face. east west and the kagemoris all circling the same thing and none of them actually agreeing on anything. that is what has me locked in going into the finale. also the parasite daemon still being out there watching from the shadows at the end is a great way to leave you uneasy. one episode left and i already need season two announced
