QUICK TAKES

Siblings meet up. I like how they add a hilarious element to the tense situation.
The guard scene in the parking garage — meme-worthy.
Overall, the story progresses with intense thrill. 10/10

The fun is building up, so much mystery to explore still!

A fun episode to watch, especially because of Yuru and Asa's moments in this episode.

Kamu percaya? Saya sih tidak, ya. Asa kenapa jadi fangirl gini? Agak kurang konsisten dari episode sebelumnya. Tapi plot berkembang menjadi sesuatu yang lebih seru. Pace cepat gini bikin saya makin penasaran dengan semakin banyak alur kompleks ke depannya.

I don't like that Asa has a brother complex; she comes across as a strong woman, and I feel like this makes her seem less serious :(
Anyway, I don't know who to believe anymore. Who's really the bad guy? I need answers!

PLEASEE don't be a sibling complex along the way (tho i doubt that would happen but i just usually dont trust animes with siblings as their mc)

funny episode

Slows the pacing slightly but rewards viewers with strong emotional tension and deeper Daemon lore. Yuru and Asa’s reunion feels painfully realistic because neither sibling knows how to process years of lies and separation. The manor attack adds excellent suspense while introducing the frightening concept of stray Daemons. The series again continues delivering beautiful animation, especially during the chaotic battle scenes and emotional close-up expressions. Left and Right remain scene-stealers every time they appear.

EPISODE CONTEXT
Landing at Episode 5 of 24, this episode follows the pivotal intersection of Yuru and Jin's paths in Episode 4 and begins converting those volatile encounters into something more structurally significant — the tentative formation of alliances with the Kagemori family. It functions as a narrative bridge, shifting the season from pure discovery and conflict into a more layered phase of shifting loyalties. What gets established here lays essential groundwork for the deeper revelations about the twins' past and the larger forces at play in the episodes ahead.
