They are getting to know the modern world. The episode is a buildup for the future plot.
I like the writing, especially how they add her reactions.

Overall — make me invested, 9/10.

Worldbuilding memang diperlukan.

The pace slowed considerably, but I see it as very necessary to explain the rules of this world. It's a bit denser and more "talky," but visually it still holds my interest.

Certainly a more relaxed episode after a heavy action packed beginning, but the series introduces charming fish out of water elements through its protagonist, as he discovers the outside world. Even the interactions between the side characters the episode is named after, from which they discuss what are they gonna do about him, are amusing.

The little backstory we were shown from Yuru also serves to flesh him out a bit while it sets an objective in stone.

As someone that has read the source material, I did not expect Hana to sound like that, but her voice fits her just fine.

Un episodio que combina un desarrollo del lore de los personajes y construcción de mundo con algo de comedia bien tirada, se siente mucho más tranquilo que los 2 anteriores.

Yuru completely losing his mind over things like 100% white rice, convenience store food, and flush toilets is hilarious. The lore drop in this episode was handled so well.

A relaxing episode with little action or shocking moments. Just the elevator scene that scares us, and it delivers a twist there. Otherwise, it focuses on Yuru's past and how he blends into the current timeline lifestyle.

Un capítulo tranquilo con escenas graciosas, donde Yuru se acerca por primera vez al mundo moderno y conoce un poco más de su pasado. Liviano, pero importante. Dan ganas de avanzar al siguiente para ver cómo avanzará la historia.

The pace slowed as we set up the foundation of the world and Yuru's perspective and understanding. Unlike most shounen MC, he is not naive nor dense. He has quick uptake despite being fish out of water, which endear me.

Interesting episode with some light-hearted comedy, so it never feels too heavy. It also drops bits of lore here and there, but not enough to fully piece everything together yet. That balance keeps it fun while still leaving you hooked and wanting more answers.

Capítulo de transición y adaptación de los personajes a su nueva realidad. Se siente calma antes de que algo pase.

A fresh story concept for this season's anime, plus a new adaptation from the FMA author that’s definitely worth watching. Great animation and an interesting story.

Interesting to see with Yuru going into modern society, so many things are happening for him to fit him like him learning how to use toilets or even Dera wanting to be legal guardians of Yuru with Hana which drove Hana crazy. LMAO

A great episode again, more secrets and mysteries had revealed.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 3 arrives directly after the traumatic attack on Yuru's village in Episode 2, functioning as a necessary decompression and reorientation chapter. It plants the character and world foundations — particularly through Dera and Hana — that the series will build on through the upcoming Kagemori Mansion Arc. At only episode 3 of 24, this is early-season setup work, and its payoff is designed to be felt later.
