Daemons of the Shadow Realm Episode 1: Asa and Yuru

Wow, what a start.Great animation and fighting.

Overall, big expectations. 10/10

A brutal and direct start. It's been a long time since I've seen an anime that captivated me so much from the first episode. The animation in that first appearance is incredible and leaves me with many questions.

girl idk what the hell is going on but im digging this and they just earned a fan, very plot heavy considering it's js the first episode which for me really works to get me watch the next ones. i felt like i was thrown out of the loop when i saw the helicopter lmao what is this

Very interesting start to the anime, it is always enjoyable when an Anime contrasts modern technology with classical characters, and seeing the overwhelming force of modern technologies "dragons" fight against simple villagers makes for a great introduction to the series.

Un episodio estreno muy impactante que nos muestra directamente a los protagonistas, con un giro de trama que rompió las expectativas que tenía para este anime en los primeros minutos. Muy interesante, con una animación bastante decente aunque ocupe CGI en algunas escenas. Pero es un anime que tiene puestas muchas expectativas encima al ser de la misma creadora que Full Metal.

I actually spoiled this episode’s reveal for myself on Instagram before watching it, but that was what made me want to watch it. The episode is great, though it starts a bit slowly. Once the action starts, it really hits, and the beginning may be a little confusing because everything develops so fast, but that helps put you in the MC’s shoes. Exposition be damned — we’ll get that later.

Going from a peaceful mountain village vibe to straight up warfare out of nowhere gave me massive hype. That cliffhanger ending is great.

1st Episode was unexpected, revelations and plots was surprising. I thought it was an anime setup in the old era at the start but everything changed at the climax
