QUICK TAKES

The episode is fun, with action happening on both the left and right sides.
Ryu's humor shines through when they see the car for the first time.
Overall - fun to watch—8/10.

A shocking episode! I never expected it to introduce such a mysterious place.

Haha

I'm a Sayu fan! I still have so many questions, but I like what's happening. I like how she handles the protagonist's confusion; I'm confused too.

It didn't explain all but watching this episode made me understand what was happening on the previous episode. The animation looks amazing especially on Yuru's fight, you can even feel his intensity which is also thanks to the awesome soundtrack. I'm looking forward to how Yuru would react by experiencing some modern civilization things and also a complete explanation why the village was attacked.
P.S. Gab sounded familiar when Yuru attacked her. After looking it up, I discovered that her voice actress is the same one who voices Hawk in Nanatsu no Taizai

ep 1 makes a lot more sense now. it was surprisingly emotional while still being packed with action and i love how there were never any dull moments. the episode did a great job focusing on the twins while also introducing new characters without feeling overwhelming. right from the start, i already want to protect asa and learn more about her. she's easily the character im most interested in so far

Clearly demonstrates that the FMA author has created gold again, the greater explanation of what is going on builds on the interesting beginning of the prior episode allowing us to understand the conflict at hand.

It makes more sense now they explained things

Them breaking out their insane power against the modern weaponry while keeping their chaotic personality was pure hype. That lore drop about the village is crazy.

EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off the assault on Yuru's village in Episode 1, this episode marks the story's first major expansion beyond that inciting trauma. The introduction of Right and Left is a pivotal development — these figures appear positioned to define the shape of Yuru's path going forward, and their debut here suggests the series is wasting no time establishing its central conflicts. At just Episode 2 of 24, this installment is doing essential groundwork, laying the character and world-building foundation that the rest of the season will likely build upon.
