Synopsis

Where other isekai shows care about power levels and boss fights, Log Horizon cares about tax policy. That's not a joke. Shiroe, the protagonist of this second season, is a strategist who'd rather win through spreadsheets and backroom negotiations than sword swings, and the main crisis here is that his governing alliance is literally running out of money. Six months after 30,000 players got trapped in the MMORPG Elder Tale, Akihabara is stable but fragile. Shiroe's Round Table Alliance brought law and order to the city, but now winter is coming, the treasury is drying up, and spies from the rival Minami district are poking around. Meanwhile, Akatsuki gets her own arc dealing with a serial killer threat she can't brute-force her way through, and the younger members of the guild start coming into their own during a large-scale raid. This is a 25-episode TV series that splits its attention between political maneuvering, character growth, and genuine MMORPG strategy: party composition, aggro management, the whole deal. If you liked Sword Art Online's premise but wanted it to actually explore what living inside a game world means beyond just fighting, this is your show. Fans of Overlord's world-building and political scheming will find a lot to chew on here too. Fair warning: Studio Deen's animation is a step down from season one, but the writing keeps pulling you forward.

This is the ending that I imagined, with epic fight and makes you root for the people involved and a new plan for the upcoming future. What I definitely dislike is how little the explanation about Krusty is, which is odd. But beside that, the conclusion and how Shiro wanted definitely satisfying. An unexpected appearance from familiar faces fighting and giving their hope to Shiro makes that boss fight feel more epic in my book. A great overall ending. I'll definitely be looking forward to watch the next season too!

We continued as the Round Table discuss on what to do after what happened. I want to like that we get to see Shiro finally is a little shaken, but I want to see it with progess, so when he did what he did , it felt a bit meh. The show build up plotpoints really well, but sometimes they push character moment abruptly. Anyway, I do like the idea of this whole plot, with people having to choose between two important things. Hopefully we'll have a great last episode after this!

As the title suggested, this episode focused on Isaac and Iselus. First and foremost, I have to get this out of the way, but the author drew a parallel of Rayneshia/Krusty with Iselus/Isaac, which made me raised a brow a little bit. But I do like how we get to explored Iselus character through Isaac's point of view. But what I dislike is how little we get to know Isaac compared to Iselus. I thought we'll be getting some backstory or something similar for Isaac, but much of the focus and discussion is about Iselus, which I understand, especially his position and that scene during his birthday party put the nail that it is because of what's about to come. I just hope they'll keep the good writing quality.

Once again, I feel this mixed feeling, maybe because I already know the author has a side in this whole debacle instead of letting the character talk for themselves, they painted one as the wrong side, even when I think both party has a point. This also goes for what happened with Nyanta, by the way, as it portray these "bad guys" as having the wrong reason for getting angry having their old lives ripped away from them with the apocalypse. None of you, the Tea Party, reached out to others who are outside of the main trio (Shiro, Nyanta, Naotsugu), how are the others will believe your words now?

I don't know how to feel about an epirosde, AGAIN. I get what it's trying to do, but there's little to no set up for it, making the impact of Touya revelation feels meh at best. The writer portray as if Touya was right, but in that situation, what the other party was doing is understandable, especially after his story. Touya is a 14 years old, A TEEN, to say such a thing with his long life ahead of him made me rise an eyebrow. I don't know, the writer seemed to fumble whenever they're writing for Touya and Minori.

I'll keep on deducting my rating everytime they do pedophilic thing, like how Nureha seemed to almost take advantage of Touya, THE 14 YEAR OLD, of his feeling for her. But beside that, the plot itself is intriguing, especially right at the end, which makes me question is this a coincident or someone had planned it? More than that, I think the strength of this story once again shines through during Isuzu and Rudy's conversation, diving deep into how NPC are in this world, which is quite sad.

Great, the author doesn't discriminate and let a Touya, the 14 YEARS OLD now coupled up with another 20+ "Onee-san". I'm sorry, but they way the author writes these couples are insane, why are they in junior high? Why can't they just be an adult newbie instead if you want to make lots of romance between EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM? Beside the point, but the plot seemed to slowly get serious, as we met a familiar face that we don't really want to see, and the condition in Akiba got worse.
