We continued from the previous episode where Shiro said he'll assemble a raid party, and then we meet two familiar faces and a new one, which is a little surprising. I do wonder how this raid party of less than 30 people would function though, especially with how their relationship dynamic is. On the other hand, we also get a glimpse of Akatsuki and her mission, and another unfamiliar face that was teased, another mystery to uncover. I feel like we'll reach the climax sooner than later tho, so excited!

It picked up the pace a bit and felt more like the kind of Log Horizon episode that made the first season interesting. It focused more on planning, teamwork, and character interactions instead of just action. I liked how it continued building on the world and relationships between the characters. It was a good episode for anyone who enjoyed the strategy side of the series. I'd recommend sticking with it, especially if you liked Shiroe's way of solving problems in season 1.

There is a lot of high energy chaos in this episode. The slowed down pacing properly established the local guild landscape. The playful tone kept things engaging, and was paired with some bright animation, which led to some immediate character development.
