OMG I couldn't believe they added another plotline for us to follow. Now, I don't know if this is a separate plotline or they'll converge at some point, but I don't know how to feel about this, especially when we still have the Krusty mystery. But for this episode, the atmosphere felt light, we mostly see the underleveled quintet. A nice intro episode for a new plotline in general.

This episode started a new arc and felt like the beginning of something different. I liked the new setting and seeing how the characters adjusted to the changes. It was mostly setup, but it did a good job making me curious about where the story was going next. A solid start if you’re ready for a new part of the journey.

The younger apprentice squad sets off to their first independent journey. The pacing is very precise as it balances everything, and maintains a wholesome tone. The animation in this episode looks very beautiful. This is a heartwarming episode.
