EPISODE REVIEWS

This was the first time that we've seen our main character explored death. It was hinted to us from episodes ago with what William said to Shiro and last episode we saw what happened to them. But to see what happened was actually very fascinating to see. I really like how Akatsuki slowly turning around, at the same time with the princess, I think the two pushed each other really well. But then as we slowly uncovering one plot, another one reared its head. I feel like we'll head straight to chaos in the upcoming episodes!

This was a much quieter episode that focused more on the side characters and what they were dealing with. It didn’t move the main story forward much, but I liked getting more time with characters who usually don’t get as much attention. It might feel a little slow if you’re only here for the main plot, but it was still a nice change of pace. A good episode to appreciate if you enjoy the smaller character moments.

The parallel narrative is masterfully executed. The heavy pacing, paired with the exhausting tone as both groups came face to face with roadblocks, provided some strong character development through raw tactical failure.
