Durarara!!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In a district where a headless Irish fairy rides a black motorcycle through traffic and nobody really bats an eye, the guy throwing vending machines at people is honestly more disruptive. Mikado Ryūgamine moves to Tokyo hoping for something more exciting than his small-town life, and within hours he's watching that headless rider tear past him on the street. His childhood friend Masaomi tries to give him the rundown on who to avoid: the volatile Shizuo Heiwajima, the manipulative information broker Izaya Orihara, but Ikebukuro doesn't really let you stay on the sidelines. The thing that makes Durarara stand out is how it tells its story. Each episode shifts perspective to a different character, and what seemed like background noise in one person's story turns out to be the main event in someone else's. A 24-episode TV series from Brain's Base that slowly connects dozens of threads into something bigger than any single plotline. The supernatural stuff is there: Celty the Dullahan searching for her missing head is a genuine mythological hook, but it sits alongside gang politics, online chat rooms, and ordinary people making terrible decisions. If you liked the chaotic ensemble energy of Baccano, this is basically its modern-day sibling. Fans of Kekkai Sensen's urban fantasy vibe or Psycho-Pass's layered storytelling will find a lot to dig into here. It rewards patience and attention in equal measure.

Everything seems to be getting better in Ikebukuro as colorful scenes are displayed, and though there are still living colors of each group, people are more adaptive. Afterall, Ikebukuro district is a community!. Great Anime indeed!
Truth unlocked! After all the conflicts, internally and externally, the three main characters now know who they are and what they can do as leaders of their groups against those who like to put chaos. With the help of other people, they can soon solve face each other without mask
Now, the time for the big three will soon happen! After the conflict and ongoing fights of some members of the Yellow Scarves, Mikado, Kida and Anri have to face a direct solution for everyone and for themselves. Just what Celty said, it should be the three of them to face it.
I think due to Anri's actions, Kida and Mikado both somehow turned back from their groups but this can be seen also as face of their own decision to end external conflicts. However, Izaya, behind the scenes, looks not yet satisfied.
This time, not only Kida faces a dilemma but also, Mikado and Anri, thinking what will be the best move or course of action to be at peace, living together in an environment of different communities.
Little by little Kida unveils the truth by the continuing events in the city but it looks the question is, what will happen if he already knows the truth but just blinded? On another note, everything seems to really play in the hands of Izaya.
This episode showed how the different groups, including those part of the legends, are interconnected and is playing in the hands of one person. I think the question that needs to be answered now is, "Will this continue as a play?" or perhaps, there will be a plot twist again!
It's not that surprising who the leader of Yellow Scarves is but it's interesting how he had lived as it's head. Also, the fact that Izaya lives up to his name as information dealer. He's the true joker among the scene.
This episode displayed how strong is Saika in the hands of the true The Slasher, not only in terms of romantic love. It's also amazing how Shizuo live up to being the strongest, though he himself really not admit it.
A plot twist, indeed. After the incidents caused by The Slasher, it has now revealed! Who would have thought the Saika is not merely a sword but also loving one that propagates.
It seems like Mr. Niekawa talks to the audience and brings us along as he seeks to answer the question "Who's the strongest?" Meanwhile, the mystery about The Slasher still continues behind these scenes.
As Celty begins to realize how unimportant for head to have a head, a mystery about The Slasher takes place and people, including Mikado, Shinra, Izaya, and more were trying to unfold. In the end, it also showed that this story is somehow connected to Celty.
After the event that took place in Ikebukuro which displayed the power of The Dollars, everything seems to be silent but at the same time loud as members of Yellow Scarves showed frequently. It's like another mystery to be solved is coming up.
After the previous episode, now it clearly states some of the important revelations, about the black rider and "The Dollars", including it's founder. It looks like the puzzle has been completed.
Who would have thought that "The Dollars" group is that big! I mean you can infer it but, a crowd like that to stand out and prove that they are one is so amazing!
This episode higlights how people see the colorless group and what they do in reality. Little by little, it makes way for the plot to introduce it by the actions made by each character, including Mikado.
The brother and sister reflect the same vibe and personality that is in the middle line of either possessiveness or obsession. Maybe both for the things or people that they recognized as very important part of their lives. Meanwhile, another information is up, connecting to Celty
With this episode, Celty has shown a different side of her, not as a black or headless rider but someone who seeks of something. A way to complete her in every way.
A deeper characterization is shown in this episode about Shizuo, a man known for his incredible strength and how feared he is by many people. However, as a viewer, one may see it now in a different way. How ironic!
After the characters built their story, events behind them are added to add something like spice which is great to take a breather, though they were from side characters.
