Synopsis
Although peace has finally returned to Ikebukuro, many of the odd occurrences have become common sights around the city. One such case is the police's constant pursuit of Celty Sturluson, the Headless Rider. Moreover, someone has placed a large bounty on her, igniting the motivation of gang members all over to begin searching for the supernatural creature as well. Meanwhile, Mikado Ryuugamine is approached by Aoba Kuronuma, a mysterious underclassman with unknown intentions, who reveals that he knows Mikado's true identity. But Ikebukuro's state of tranquility is short-lived, as a new threat appears in the form of a murderer who goes by the pseudonym "Hollywood," known for wearing a different mask each time they commit a crime. As the various events taking place prove to be connected yet again, Ikebukuro is thrown into another conflict that threatens to engulf the entire city in chaos.

I think a good conclusion to the main story of the season with a lot of plot points getting wrapped up here and some intriguing scenes which i believe would lead into the next season of the series. For not having watched S1 i really liked this anime and would recommend it new viewers.
Another good episode as we are nearing the conclusion of the season. Every thing pretty much ends up getting tied back together which will allow for an epic conclusion in the final episode and I have no complaints on the pacing or animation within this episode. Really enjoyed this series.
Another good episode, with backstory for one of our core characters of this current arc. I loved how it showed the realities of a young person growing up in a family that is feared rather than respected and gave us more context into how this impacted this character growing up. Will be interesting to see how the season wraps up.
Great episode, as multiple conflicts are going on at the same time leading to a lot of chaos. The action is epic with and the storyline is coming close to its conclusion soon for the season unless it’s left on a cliffhanger so I’m hoping the remaining episodes deliver as well. Definitely the best of the season.
Another good episode, bring the main story back into play. The story is progressing along in a timely manner and the stakes are getting higher as well. Will be interesting to see where this all ends up in the remaining 4 episodes.
This was a calm filler episode as we got some insight into the childhood of one of the new characters and how they ended up on the path we see in the story. Slow pacing compared to previous episodes but still a solid one in terms of world building and animation.
Another solid episode, I’m really enjoying this series as it deals with 2 different but interconnected storylines and the pacing issues previously addressed were better in this episode. Great animation as usual and I’m looking forward to the upcoming episodes.
New faces as we are introduced to some new characters beginning another arc within the story. Pacing was a bit slow this episode in terms of continuing the story where we left off, but the animation remains fluid. Hopefully the story picks up in the next episode.
Nice conclusion to the in season mini arc, as this storyline got wrapped up in a satisfying way. Looking forward to the next plot and what remains in this season of the series. The music playing in this episode was really stellar.
I loved the reveal in this episode, although an early one as it gave a glimpse into the other side of the 'villain' in our story so far while carrying on other stories as this is filled with many characters. Another great episode.
Another solid episode with new character introductions and more worldbuilding. I'm really liking the soundtrack that they use within this series and the animation stays top notch.
For my first time interacting with this series, I really enjoyed this first episode. The animation is really good and is complemented by the soundtrack and the characters are pretty interesting thus far. Looking forward to what's next.
This is an exceptional finale that delivers on every aspect of the series. It provides a thrilling conclusion to the multi faction conflict, while having the most significant character development for each of the series characters. I know this series will never dissapoint considering the first season is really good. Good watch!
Episode 11 pulls back on the throttle just a bit, this one is a transition episode, acting as the perfect setup for the grand finale of the series. Instead of physical action, the battle here is entirely psychological and political. It’s an episode driven by heavy dialogue and tense negotiations, but it never feels boring because the stakes are palpable. It brilliantly connects all the characters plotlines leaving me wanting more to watch the last episode.
Episode 10 is the chaotic pileup at the finish line where the sheer absurdity of the series universe takes center stage. It successfully resolves the immediate threat of the plot while seamlessly pivoting toward the final of the series It’s loud, chaotic, and it’s an absolute blast to watch.
f you thought the previous couple of episodes were chaotic episode 9 blows right past them serving as a major meeting point where almost every single faction i've been watching finally meet into one another in the middle of traffic. This episode easily one of the strongest episode in the series. It delivers a massive web of completely unrelated characters and tangling them into a mess. It’s action packed, funny, and sets up a phenomenal climax.
This episode brings the focus back to Ikebukuro's streets, delivering a fantastic tension between characters, their misunderstandings, and some chaos on it. It’s fast, punchy, and keeps the momentum rolling perfectly.
Episode 7 slows things down just enough to give us some much needed backstory. While some fans might miss the usual frantic multi character perspective across the city, the episode still giving me things that I actually want to watch
Episode 6 is where the fire starts to spread sideways. This episode balances the series dark story with its lighthearted parts, It leans heavily into the irony of its intersecting plotlines and wraps up with a classic layered Durarara!! cliffhanger that leaves me wanting to watch the next episode immediately
After a few episodes of heavy heavy setup, this series does what the franchise does it's best, it throws a dozens of story plots into a blender and hits it with a chair. While the animation can occasionally feel a bit inconsistent, it's still a watchable episode
