Durarara!! x2 Ten
Oshimeter
Synopsis
In Ikebukuro, the lives of its citizens continue intertwining with each other as if their fates are predestined. Mikado Ryuugamine is now one step closer to his goal of living an exciting life, and in turn, delves deeper into the darker side of Ikebukuro. After gaining absolute control over a former rival, he uses his newfound power as he pleases, purging the Dollars from the inside to mold it into the ideal organization. This proves to be as challenging as it sounds as Mikado must now deal with unwanted outside interference, most notably a re-emerging and dearly missed friend. Meanwhile, Izaya Orihara still has some schemes up his sleeve, although a rival information exchange center has proven to be quite the hindrance, lurking within everyone's favorite downtown district. Undoubtedly, sooner or later, chaos will strike again.

This ep is a big bridge into the Ketsu season. The Awakusu-kai, Dollars, Celty, and Ikebukuro’s power players collide hard.
Erika narration gives the otaku crew a fun angle, while the city keeps getting more dangerous. Mostly setup, but good setup.
Izumii and the nastier gang side of the story are up. Chaotic as always
Yeah, This is late-cour setup with that real payoff
The plot thickens! Okay, maybe not super flashy, but it is the kind of connector episode you regret skipping later.
Kida and Saki. It is slower, but it deepens the emotional cost of the gang's plot.
Cool ep. Kujiragi brings colder, sharper villain energy. Important if you want the endgame politics to make sense.
The plot pulls Shizuo, Anri, and the Dollars mess together. Good tension, all killer no filler.
A quieter episode, but it builds one of x2’s better new dynamics (Always here for more Shizuo).
Mika gets spotlight, and the episode is better if you enjoy the series’ twisted romance comedy. Strange but useful.
Namie and Seiji/Mika drama is messy, and very Durarara!! . Not action-heavy, but it feeds the character drama.
Great opener episode, has so funny stuff.
It became intensed when Izaya unexpectedly shows up to the conversation between Vorona and Slon, i was waiting for the unexpected.
The quiet moment always gets me because it proves the most genuinely human relationship. Seeing Celty lean her helmet against a bandaged Shinra is a beautiful, wordless display of vulnerability that perfectly shows her silent relief after he survived that brutal attack.
Even though Izumii acts friendly by patting Aoba's head, i still feel the next big conflict between old gang rivals.
Arguing traffic laws with Ikebukuro's most relentless police officer is more like a waste of time.
I did enjoyed this episode, especially at the scene where the dart carvings was exposed to the other gang members.
The contrast between Adabashi's screaming, and Kasuka's chillingly calm, expressionless demeanor makes this episode unpredictable.
I love the scene when Mika was aggressively forcing a normal high school gossip onto someone as introverted as Anri.
It is fun watching those thug guys getting humbled by the squad of vigilantes in shark hoodies.
