Synopsis
Able to see ghosts since childhood, high school girl Shizuka Mizuzuka would be fine with her ability except they won't leave her alone. Spirits are drawn to her like moths to a flame, making her daily life a constant parade of the paranormal. Her solution? Becoming the assistant to Kamui, a renowned and ridiculously confident exorcist whose methods are... let's just say unorthodox. Instead of chanting sutras or waving talismans around, Kamui's exorcism technique involves making evil spirits feel so good they think they're ascending to heaven. Yeah, it's that kind of show. This TV series, based on a web manga and set to air in 2026, leans hard into its comedic and erotic premise without pretending to be something it's not. The dynamic between Shizuka, who's mostly just trying to get through the day, and Kamui, who treats every exorcism like a performance, gives the comedy a solid anchor. The supernatural cases they take on in the early episodes range from creepy to absurd, and the tone stays light even when things get weird. If you enjoyed the risqué exorcist vibes of Furyou Taimashi Reina or the supernatural comedy of Shureishi, this one's in that lane. It also shares some DNA with Heaven's Will in how it pairs a gifted girl with an eccentric partner. Don't go in expecting horror. this is a comedy that happens to have ghosts and a very specific way of dealing with them.

that final shrine shot scared the hell out of me. this is supposed to be the naked psychic comedy and suddenly Im checking my hallway. bookend or season 2 tease I dont know
I was so ready for the big dumb exorcism finale and instead they made me cry over a succubus choosing to leave. then kamui ruins the whole speech with the erection line. I cant decide if I love or hate this show
you expect the climax to be a joke and it just isnt. lily cracking apart mid fight telling kamui she only wanted to stay human for shizuka got me worse than any exorcism gag could
she needs a hug is right. watching shizuka run around school asking people about lily and getting blank stares wrecked me. then she finally screams lily-chans name in front of her friends and it all comes out

We all need Snack Hazama, after a few sip even the most vengeful and hated entity would spill the tea making us mortals empathise their predicament. We need bars like this in real life 🥹 Better than paying 300USD for a 15mins therapy session

Sugita carrying this show on his back as usual. That deadpan face he gives Enma when shes ready for some perverted punishment and he just asks to go home is peak comedic timing. The Kasha fight had genuine stakes too which I wasnt expecting

I lost it when Kamui showed up to the ritual completely naked and started doing those suggestive moves on the fox spirit and Shizu was just dying inside from the embarrassment
ok the part that got me was kamui telling lily to get off him once shes done crying because his arm went numb. thats the whole character right there
Enma being the desperate masochist while complaining that Kamui never wants to humiliate her specifically is so tragic and funny at the same time. The bar scene where she drinks a Bloody Mary and acts drunk off a non-alcoholic drink was too good. Poor woman just wants to be dominated
I was not ready for Shizuka grabbing Kasha's flaming leg and screaming about how Kamui saved her life. Usually shes just reacting to his nonsense but this was real growth. Then he wakes up and immediately uses that Wheelbarrow move on Kasha. Never change Kamui
The Demon Slayer vibes during the Hell gates sequence had me cracking up. They really animated those gates like they were from Mist Hashira's fight. Then Kamui jams his crotch in them to keep them open. This show is unhinged in the best way
