Episode Context

Coming off Episode 5's more contained supernatural conflict centered on Oichi and a ghostly black cat near Yui, Episode 6 opens the setting up by moving the cast onto mountain roads and into a pair of escalating hauntings. Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 12-episode run, this episode signals a shift toward louder, more mobile set-pieces after the earlier character-focused encounters. It positions the group dynamic and Kamui's exorcist style for whatever the back half of the season will throw at them.
