Episode Context

Coming off Episode 2's school-set Kokkuri-san incident, this episode broadens the show's case-of-the-week rhythm by tackling two distinct urban legend hauntings in quick succession. It reinforces the core Kamui-and-Shizuka dynamic while expanding the supernatural roster beyond school-bound threats. The dual-case structure bridges neatly into Episode 4, which brings fresh urban legend encounters in the form of the Kuchisake-onna and Rokurokubi.
