You really have to see the way this show handles urban legends because it starts with a terrifying chase and then Kamui just licks the spirit and everything turns into a golden erotic fever dream. The contrast between the serious horror buildup and Kamui adjusting his clothes afterward makes the comedy work.

Seeing the urban legends complain about their screen time in that bar segment made me crack up and Mary-san turning into a literal watermelon was such a bizarre ending
