📖 SYNOPSIS
Set in 1333, "The Elusive Samurai" depicts the tumultuous fall of the Kamakura shogunate. Ashikaga Takauji, a trusted vassal, orchestrates a rebellion, leading to the massacre of the ruling family. Houjou Tokiyuki, the rightful heir, narrowly escapes the carnage, fleeing Kamakura with the aid of Suwa Yorishige, a Shinto priest. Now on the run, Tokiyuki must navigate a dangerous world while fighting to survive. Driven by the desire to reclaim his birthright, he begins to formulate a plan to challenge Takauji and restore his family's honor. The series explores themes of betrayal, survival, and the struggle for power in a time of political upheaval.
