How one lived is what remains in people's minds rather than how they died. Tokiyuki realizing this and making Hoshina realize how much more they could achieve alive is beautiful and right, unlike what Kiyohara envisions.

The emotional side of Tokiyuki’s story becomes more visible. His goal of reclaiming his clan’s legacy grows stronger.

I honestly don’t know if I should take this episode seriously because of how many comedic moments it had. 😂 We do see a bit of character growth, but the way it plays out is awkwardly funny more than anything.

Episode Context

As episode 11 of 12, this is the penultimate chapter and serves as the dramatic launchpad into the season finale, 'Hang in There, Tokiyuki, Until the Day You Retake Kamakura.' Following the events of 'A Perverted Kid and Disturbances of Holy Power,' the conflict sharpens around Tokiyuki's leadership and his allies' commitment to his unconventional path. Everything here is structured to crystallize the season's central themes before the final episode attempts to bring Tokiyuki's first-season journey to a meaningful resolution.
