Samurai looking down on ninjas is just weird for me. They're both cool but I mean like, ninjas are stealthy, good in infiltrations, can manipulate their enemies' senses, etc. That's just way cooler to me.

This episode was a different kind of crazy. We get three separate narratives, but the part about Takauji stood out the most. It felt bizarre yet intriguing and really makes you curious about how powerful he truly is. The mystery around him keeps building.

Episode Context

Sitting at the season's midpoint, Episode 6 pivots from the direct confrontation with Ogasawara Sadamune in Episode 5 into a more tactical, covert operation centered on retrieving an Imperial edict. This mission marks a turning point in the season's trajectory, escalating the political stakes considerably. The fallout from this operation feeds directly into the back half of the season, where the conflict with Ashikaga Takauji intensifies and the consequences of Tokiyuki's growing rebellion become harder to outrun.
