Synopsis
The story revolves around Maya, the daughter of the former Headmaster of Waldstein Academy, and a time traveling agent Fumiaki Uchida. In the year 2012, the world had been invaded by aliens and time travelers were sent back to the year 1999 in order to find and destroy the Nostradamus Key, which Nostradamus Prophecy foretold as what would bring about the apocalypse. The series then turns to the year 1999, where Maya returns to the Academy with the intention of destroying the Academy by superseding her late father's position as the principal. Her plan was interrupted when she meets Fumiaki and learns of the forthcoming destruction. Despite being distrusting towards Fumiaki, they form a pact to look for the Nostradamus Key. In order to find the Nostradamus Key, time agents were provided with specially created cell phones. When a user finds an object of interest, by thinking of destroying it and taking a photo, and if the resulting image is that of a peaceful world, then the subject is the Nostradamus Key. Conversely, if the subject is not the Nostradamus Key, then the photo displays destruction. By using the phone, Maya and Fumiaki investigates occult occurrences as they occur in the town.

The conclusion of the finale is just alright, and it exceeds my expectations. The plot twist of the entire series is too good! The latter is just peacefully watching our MCs get their happy endings!
The action and storyline twist in this episode continue nonstop until the very end, unlike the preceding episodes that build to a final cliffhanger! However, it doesn't end there! There's more!
The pace of this episode is from 0 to 10! Both the story's mystery and its impending climax are gradually intensifying! I feel the incoming final two episodes are gonna be LIT!!!🔥
That was a heartwarming episode! A touching, emotional episode that makes you wanna cry for our main characters in this series! The minor character's sequences in this episode are getting better! The voice acting is so good! And the latter is very promising and anticipated among the watchers!
The flow of this episode is steady-paced and a bit slowed, but just alright. The new character got under my skin, it's because this episode is getting fascinating. The build-up and the progression until the upcoming episode are pretty anticipated just for me!
Episode 8 clearly demonstrates to viewers that our MCs have a powerful partnership! The action scenes are quite exciting to watch, and our characters' teamwork is very tactical! The latter is wholesome! I rate this episode an 8.5/10!
This episode is quite emotional, but it has happy and funny scenes! The pacing is just good, and the emotions of our character are heart-warming! The latter part shows how the voice acting of our main characters is TOP TIER!
This current episode builds more lore and impact on the upcoming anticipated climax of the series! The scenes are the best and well done in this episode! The voice acting is still on point!
What I liked about this episode is the lore drop growing and progressing! Kozue's past is fascinating, and it ties in with the story's lore! I think the upcoming episodes are gonna be LIT!!!🔥
The first half of the episode is pretty good. I like how Fumiaki finally finds closure with his mother, and the final twist is a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the second half doesn't make much sense and ends rather abruptly. It feels like the series was rushing to wrap everything up. Overall, though, I enjoyed this anime. I just think it would have benefited a lot from being a two-cour series, giving the story more time to develop its characters and conclude its plot in a more satisfying way.
Honestly, the finale feels rushed and a bit all over the place. It tries to wrap up too many plot points in too little time. I understand why people have mixed feelings about it. That said, I still enjoyed the episode. Despite its flaws, it still entertaining and has enough exciting moments to leave a positive impression.
I found out this episode is absolutely funny and super hilarious to watch! The backstory of Bunemei is being expanded to provide more information! The current story is very interesting, and our MC is very courageous! Also, the soundtrack is very EXCELLENT!
This episode feels like the beginning of the final arc, and I really enjoyed it. It throws several twists at the audience, and they come so quickly that it can be hard to keep up at times. Still, the fast pace makes the story feel exciting and raises the stakes for what's to come. As for Fumiaki, I honestly thought he had grown, but it seems he still has a long way to go. It's a bit frustrating, hope this final arc will finally give him the development he needs. I like the date scene
They tied up the season perfectly. The final stand was visually stunning, with the time travel mechanics paying off in the best way possible. It delivered an incredible, emotionally satisfying series.
What an interesting episode of the season! The character and the lore build-up are currently processing to the max! The animation still holds well despite its age, and I found it amazing!
There is absolute chaos in this episode. The apocalyptic threat is finally here, and it’s visually spectacular. Fumiaki’s character growth shines brightly in this episode. It delivers the ultimate mix of desperation and sci fi action. The cliffhanger is superb it makes you immediately crave for the next episode.
The betrayals and emotional reveals are executed perfectly. Some of the background art looked a little flat here, but the main duo looks stunning.
This is a really good episode. The payoff from the previous episode is satisfying, and Akari's story with her father is genuinely heartwarming. I like how it ties into Maya's own issues with her father, giving her the closure and finally grieve. By the end, Maya finally has a personal reason to pursue Nostradamus' Key, making her goal feel much more meaningful.
This is kind of a slow episode. Unlike the previous ones, it doesn't focus much on the supporting characters, but I wonder if it will connect to the overall story later on. Not much happens in terms of major plot progression, making this feel more like some kind of filler episode. Also, Mikaze is starting to become a bit annoying to me.
What a fascinating episode! The backstory and lore drop is on point! The aggressiveness and brutality of Maya is never quite a complaint HAHA. I always like the dark, gritty, and goth theme of the whole series!
