The pilot episode is very brutal and chaotic, fun to watch!!! The flow of this episode is like a roller coaster and is full of surprises! Additionally, the animation is still pretty good for me despite the age of the anime. 🤩

Great start to the series. I thought it would be a generic school anime, but the late 90s aesthetic and the Nostradamus prophecy hook are amazing. Maya's hatred for the occult makes for a hilarious dynamic. The animation is crisp and the OP is an absolute banger.

A solid first episode. I like how the series approaches the occult and supernatural elements with leaning more on comedy, while still being able to take things seriously. The episode does a good job introducing the female lead and establishing her personality and motivation. Meanwhile, the male lead makes an absolutely absurd entrance, which immediately leaves a strong impression which I still remembers unto this day. Overall, it's a strong start with likable characters, entertaining humor, and an interesting supernatural premise. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more.
