EPISODE REVIEWS
The conclusion of the finale is just alright, and it exceeds my expectations. The plot twist of the entire series is too good! The latter is just peacefully watching our MCs get their happy endings!
The first half of the episode is pretty good. I like how Fumiaki finally finds closure with his mother, and the final twist is a nice surprise. Unfortunately, the second half doesn't make much sense and ends rather abruptly. It feels like the series was rushing to wrap everything up. Overall, though, I enjoyed this anime. I just think it would have benefited a lot from being a two-cour series, giving the story more time to develop its characters and conclude its plot in a more satisfying way.
They tied up the season perfectly. The final stand was visually stunning, with the time travel mechanics paying off in the best way possible. It delivered an incredible, emotionally satisfying series.
