The flow of this episode is steady-paced and a bit slowed, but just alright. The new character got under my skin, it's because this episode is getting fascinating. The build-up and the progression until the upcoming episode are pretty anticipated just for me!
This is kind of a slow episode. Unlike the previous ones, it doesn't focus much on the supporting characters, but I wonder if it will connect to the overall story later on. Not much happens in terms of major plot progression, making this feel more like some kind of filler episode. Also, Mikaze is starting to become a bit annoying to me.
The stakes are pushed higher as the timeline gets closer to 1999. It gets dark in this episode. I love how the show reminds you that the occult phenomena are genuinely dangerous. The winter setting adds a gorgeous, eerie vibe to the whole episode.
