The emotional weight of this arc is handled well. The surreal visuals during the supernatural sequences are top tier. Plus, Fumiaki actually shows some genuine competence for once, which is a nice change of pace.

This is a good episode that provides a satisfying resolution to both Kozue's and Fumiaki's plotlines. Fumiaki's near-death experience was especially interesting, as it gave us glimpses of the future and was accompanied by some really impressive animation. I also enjoyed how Kozue's storyline wrapped up in a funny way.
